Pug Template Studio is a browser-based tool. This policy describes the small amount of data its use involves, and what our advertising provider does with it.

Your templates never leave your browser

Projects you drop in are unpacked, compiled and rendered entirely by JavaScript running on your own machine, inside a Web Worker. Their contents are never sent to a server — not ours, and not anyone else’s. There is no account, no upload, and no server-side record of what you render.

What is stored on your device

So that your work survives a reload, the studio saves the loaded project, your scenarios and the variable values you have filled in to your browser’s IndexedDB and local storage. That data stays on your device and is readable only by this site. Clearing this domain’s site data removes all of it.

Advertising and cookies

This site is funded by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and may use your previous visits to this and other sites to show you ads matched to your interests. We neither receive nor keep any of that data ourselves.

Before any advertising cookie is set, a consent message asks what Google may do with your data. That message stores your choice, and you can reopen it at any time to change it.

Removing your data

Because nothing is stored on our side, there is nothing for us to delete. To remove everything this site has put on your device, clear its site data in your browser settings; to withdraw advertising consent, reopen the consent message described above.
